Manager, Policy and Advocacy
Hunter Field, Policy and Advocacy manager at NEFE, focuses on the organization’s advocacy efforts for initiatives, such as state K-12 financial education requirements. He works on disseminating research and materials about financial education efficacy and leads the NEFE stories of impact initiative, sharing personal accounts of financial education students, teachers and advocates alike.
Prior to joining NEFE, Hunter worked as a paralegal at an employment law firm in Boston, administering class-action lawsuits on behalf of employees and working with clients to best present their claims. He also worked as a field organizer and deputy field director on two political campaigns in Massachusetts, advocating for pro-labor and criminal justice reform candidates at the state and county level.
Hunter earned his bachelor’s degree in media studies from Indiana University at Bloomington. Outside of the workplace, he loves to go on hikes, play basketball, listen to podcasts and daydream about the Boston Celtics next championship. You may also find him at one of Denver’s First Friday Art Walks in the Santa Fe art district.
