Manager, Grants and Research Projects
Meghan Sellers is NEFE's manager of Grants and Research projects. In her role, she supports the organization’s mission to advance financial well-being through impactful research and public insight. Meghan oversees the administration of research funding, manages grants, and coordinates opinion polling that provides valuable data to inform educators, policymakers, practitioners and other audiences Prior to joining NEFE, Meghan conducted research on how intersectional identities impact social movements and legislative behavior, ultimately contributing to a digital archive of female legislators within Colorado. She also served on her university's Legislative Council and Environmental Board, advocating for increased mental health resources, equitable pay, and sustainable practices on campus. A first-generation student, Meghan earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Colorado Boulder, with a minor in sociology. Outside of work, she enjoys making pottery, baking, and reading in the park alongside her miniature dachshund.
