Focus on FinEd: The Policy Convenings Podcast

In 2021, NEFE and the Council for Economic Education (CEE) hosted five policy convenings to discuss the most pertinent issues in the financial education field.

Nearly 250 stakeholders from 44 states joined these invitation-only events. The goal? Provide an open forum to learn and listen about the opportunities, technicalities and challenges encountered when considering statewide financial education policy and programming.

The outcomes from these convenings are the subject of this limited series of podcasts. NEFE President and CEO, Dr. Billy J Hensley, and NEFE Policy and Advocacy Director, Raven Newberry, are joined by some special guests to discuss the convenings and analyze how the field can turn the lessons learned into actionable next steps.
